Puppy Weight Calculator

Enter current weight and age to estimate adult size. Choose a breed for Yorkies, doodles, Labs and other common searches, or leave mixed and pick a size class. Optional parent weights help when the litter is mixed.

The week rule (current weight ÷ age in weeks × 52) is a rough check only. This tool uses a size-class growth curve, then blends in parent weights when you have them. Littermates can still differ by 10–20%. A vet visit plus a later weigh-in at 16 weeks is more accurate than any single number.

Common questions

How do I tell how big my puppy will get?

Weigh the puppy, note age in weeks, and pick a size class or breed. Adult weight is current weight divided by the typical percent of adult size at that age. Parent weights improve mixed-breed guesses.

What is the most accurate puppy weight calculator method?

A growth curve by size class beats the simple week × 52 rule, especially after 16 weeks. Two weigh-ins a month apart are more accurate than one. Breed DNA and the parents still beat any public calculator.

How big will a Goldendoodle, Yorkie or Lab get?

Use the breed preset. Mini goldendoodles often finish 15–35 lb, standard goldendoodles 50–90 lb, Yorkies 4–7 lb, Labs 55–80 lb. Mixes inherit the wider band.

When do puppies stop growing?

Toy and small breeds are usually near adult weight by 9–12 months. Large breeds closer to 12–18 months. Giant breeds can fill out past 18 months.
